Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love the camisole that Grace is wearing. And I even like it with the hat. Not so in love with the belt.

Art Crawl!!!

I agree that the belt was her big mistake. I guess she wanted to add a touch of color to the ensemble.

Speaking of big mistakes and belts and completely off topic--Lorelai's belt over that red dress last night was horrible.

I hadn't realised that Grace Park had been a model until someone told me, and I can totally see it now. Tricia Helfer, on the other hand, screams it.

I like her better with the ice blonde hair, myself. But I'm a little partial to that shade. I think the drama serves her well, and with that face and frame she can totally carry it off.

Oh me too, definitely.

Word. The wardrobe people on GG must hate Lauren Graham because in the last two years, they have consistently dressed her like shit. Looks like maybe she gained 5 lbs and they don't know how to handle it.

Oh my god, I couldn't take my eyes off that ridiculous belt from 1983. It was a hot mess.

It certainly wasn't helped by her oversized shift dress from some retro sixties lovechild movie that she wore to the cotillion. The GFY fugged Lauren Graham recently, and noted that the costumers always dress her like she's fifteen pounds heavier than she is. And now I can't help but see that *all the time.* Watching the credits is like watching her be gorgeously attired, and then the show doesn't live up to the credits. The promo shots are better than this.

In other news, whoa Heroes! It was a freaking amazing episode. I'm in love with Hiro and Ando. Everything's interesting. But I think my absolute favorite parts are seeing Crazy Painter Guy's artwork. That charcoal pencil drawing of Jesse and Gorgeous Woman kissing, with that red umbrella detail--it just took my breath away.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Wait, wasn't he the smoking hot captain time traveler in an episode of Who?

Vortex -- yes! Several episodes, actually. As I mentioned above, I like to think of him as Hot Naked Bisexual Captain Jack. (And I don't think we really need to whitefont this particular casting tidbit, considering that Torchwood is basically Captain Jack's spinoff. And god bless Russell T. Davies for it!)
