A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I loved Henry's formal outfit too.
And I purposefully didn't put a SLASH in my post about Lo-Jack and Taggert because it's
ita's
job to bring the bestiality - not mine.
And to change topics, I read this quote from Michael Ausiello over at TWOP:
Ausiello: ...[I]t should be noted that while I was on holiday I worked my ass off watching the first five hours of Battlestar Galactica's third season, which Sci Fi so graciously sent me along with a full-color, glossy souvenir program that rivals my commemorative Melrose Place courtyard brick as my favorite piece of TV swag ever. But back to the episodes themselves, I can only think of one word to describe them, and it begins with an "F" and ends with a "K."
The TWOPPER goes on to say that the actual column gets more specifically spoilery so you may not want to go to TV Guide to check it out. (I didn't.)
Who's Lo in Lo-Jack? Do you mean Jo? I thought her last name was Lupo.
Well I don't know about "looms" over me..... looms.... you're just still mad about the RPF thing.
I think it's because Quinn's head is enormous (and he's 6'4"). We called it being Edclipsed. But I'm a bit over 6.
Edclipsed : when Ed Quinn crosses another actor's light on their coverage causing the director to reblock the scene because the person goes too dark.
Strangely, most of Ed's friends are all taller....when they're together, he looks like the small one.
Edclipsed
goes into my favorite list of informal TV terms, along with
Scully Box
and
Spinering.
I do recall John Stamos looking like a midget when standing next to him on
Jake in Progress.
But then again, Wendy Malick also had the same sort of effect.
Edclipsed goes into my favorite list of informal TV terms, along with Scully Box and Spinering.
And don't forget
schmucking the bait.
..... looms....
Hmm...someone looms...the show's adorable. I dub EUREKA the "Pete" of television shows.
I think it's because Quinn's head is enormous
You could launch sattelites around that thing....He'll cry himself to sleep on his enourmous pillow.
Quinn's head is enormous (and he's 6'4")
I am glad to know that actors are aware of the Lollipop Actor problem. I mean, I know I have noticed it, but, I just always wondered whether the cast of
Dawson's Crick
were all like, Dude, I'm not standing next to that giant head. It has its own gravity!
I wonder how you do closeup scenes when two people interacting both have giant hairdos? Afro + beehive has got to be a cinematographer's nightmare.
OMG!
Lo-Jack is the DOG.
(I'm laughing a bit hysterically here. No wonder I didn't fully understand your posts.)
But I'm a bit over 6.
With a teensy head, it seems.
woops! This is what I get for posting an hour before dawn. I had something witty (if you believe that...) back there that made reference to J-Lo and Jo-Lu, but I was so groggy I thought I'd gotten it wrong and deleted it.
Must rewatch before further comment, but I will say this: loved the sorta restrained excitement in Carter when Allison drops the divorce-bomb, but that there was still genuine concern about the graveness of such a decision and how she was handling it. Sweet.
