We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah...could be very exciting. It is a publication that I have great respect for so I am very proud. People have heard of it. These editors are teases though. I feel like they rub up against me then say they don't want to mess up the friendship. But she said "You are where I hope crip conversation can go." and made the unusual editorial request for more profanity.(They have a lot of 'tude over at mouthmag.)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

erika, that's excellent! That piece is just beautiful. And powerful. It deserves as wide a readership as possible.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

This sounds very promising. Your prespective on disability needs to be out there.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

"You are where I hope crip conversation can go."

yes, yes, YES!

Because books.

erika, that's wonderful! But I'm ashamed to say I don't even know what Mouth is. I have to go find out.

One thing about phone calls -- it does save some back and forth time. But yeah, a bit quaint these days.

[link] I'm not sure what my disability perspective is, except "A little less ritual and a little more fun..." But I sense quoting Spike in a professional situation might be a mistake. Not as much as "I can't wait to tell my friends. They don't have a rock this big.." though. This editor has quite the story. She had some kind of brain injury and had to get a big scary male friend to break her out of a rehabilitation place.

Yup - Mouth is one of the magazines out there that I wish had existed during my post-accident, pre-internet wheelchair days.

It kicks some serious tailfeathers.

I am so proud of my sister-wife.

Thanks erika, but the link didn't work -- I got "This page can't be displayed".

That's odd. Next piece: Why Monogamy is Dead: The Hip Crip's Guide to Plural Marriage Not Tonight, Honey, My Wrist Hurts: Love in Cyberspace. Bwah...the second one sucks enough I could sell it.
