I was thinking of the wrong Dr. Cox. The one that looks like JZ. Imagine my surprise, Cindy.
Hee! That puts a whole new face on things.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I like pie.
You know what? I think there's something wrong when this: [link] is my default LJ icon. But seriously, this is where I am mentally these days.
Would you like to come have pie with us, Katie?
Ugh, Brenda. I hope the work stuff gets better.
When is pie, Lee? I sure do like pie.
Off to el aeropuerto to pick up my sister. Vacation is over.
We could have pie now, or later, or maybe next weekend.
Barnyard is an Ardman (Wallace and Grommit) film.
No, you're thinking of Flushed Away, which is CG-Aardman about mice, and looks clever and wonderful.
Barnyard is 2-d, and is a very stupid movie about male cows. In a universe which also contains both female cows and bulls, for some reason. I'm told that there is a touching father-son story at it's center, but unfortunately for my sense of reason, both the father and the son are COWS.
the rat movie? Ratatouille?
Nope, that one's Pixar.

I'ma call you "Clamps" from now on, brenda Clamps.

I knew they had a CG movie coming out.
I can't believe the day I'm stuck at the hospital y'all spend the whole time talking about sandwiches. If ever there was a time to post cat pictures, today was the day.
JZ's tucked in for the night. I massaged her feet and calves and upper arms and scalp (basically anywhere I could reach that wasn't hooked up to a machine) until she got loopy.
She was Very Brave Indeed facing the exciting challenge of multiple IV sticks and the just-relax-while-I-stick-a-carjack-in-your-cooter speculum fun.
At one point, a doctor was telling her that she wouldn't get to eat until midnight. As the last thing she'd eaten was breakfast at 7am, this almost made her cry. Fortunately, they turned over the 7pm bloodwork more quickly and the spanikopita I had waiting for her little Greek self was consumed promptly at 8:30.
Oof, this is a good margarita. The Cointreau is key. Also the fresh lime. And a decent Tequila. Ice and salt are good too.
Well, if it helps -- I did post a cat related techinical problem I had in the technical problem thread.
