OK, there was just an ad for the movie Barnyard on. Am I mistaken or is the cow with prominant UDDERS voiced by a MAN?
That's gonna confuse the hell out of some kids. I'm sure having the appropriate distinguishing anatomy might offend the parents of some childrens but still! Make it neuter! It's a time honored cartoon technique.
Yes. Boy cow with udders. It's very wrong.
Eddie Izzard is rolling his eyes at you right now.
She makes tons and tons of devilled eggs. Which I slurp down. Love them.
Sprinkled with paprika, and chilled to the perfect temperature of "cold, but not frozen"? Yum!!
I doubt pixar or whoever is intending to suggest that. But who knows? Maybe the cow does have that bent, whatever that'd be called for bovines.
I doubt pixar or whoever
Barnyard is an Ardman (Wallace and Grommit) film.
If there was any sort of intentional gender bending implied in any way by the trailer, my opinion of the movie would skyrocket.
(eta: That's so sad, Ardman has never let me down before, but it looks so very bad)
The credits on the official web site say it's Steve Oedkirk and Omation Animation Studios.

OMG, I almost forgot. There's a (very cool) statue of a moose on the plaza outside my office. Made of old chrome fenders. [link]
I must have crossed the plaza at a different angle than usual the other day. That is a
boy
moose. I mean
seriously
a boy moose.
Now I can't look away. (Nor, I notice, can most of the little kids who come near it.)
Gotta love the attention to detail. "Hung like a chrome moose" is striking me as a terribly amusing phrase, though I can't imagine when I'd use it.
As it turns out, I don't have eggs after all. Why didn't I buy food when I was out running errands?
