Man, what made me think I could NOT watch Grey's Anatomy?

It's not the premiere tonight, is it?
Now, I suspect in locations more accustomed to being put in film, it doesn't yank you out quite as much. But man, did it ever in my little city!
Pshaw. You should have been sitting with me and my friend when her office building was in, I think, Changing Lanes. "THAT'S MY COURTYARD!! THAT'S MY BUILDING!!!!" All loud.
It's not the premiere tonight, is it?
Next week.
Today, yes, more walking, but I think this started before. No new shoes. Sharp pain when it's there. No swelling. I was thinking that the connecty bits were poppier on that ankle, but I'm not sure.
I'm at a loss. I'd probably go to a doctor, though, if it is popping and hurting a lot.
Heh. For the GFL crowd, anything LC created a fuss. Most was filmed in Deming, I think, but still. We knew! That wasn't a _____. Another thing I realized, googling images? I liked the clothes I wore in '92/93. Might not wear them now (a little young for me, but still!)
Timelies,
In the more boring details about Kalshane's job woes news, it looks like this is my last night on the this shift. Starting Monday I get the oh-so-thrilling schedule of 3am-12:30pm Su-Th. (Have no clue how I'm going to arrange my sleep schedule for that one.) But at least it will be at the local office, so no more 45 mile commutes each way. We're also supposed to be finally getting switched to hourly, which is good since the new schedule gives us a 45 hour work week. Too late for this BS, but at least it's a start. And yes, I'm still planning on working on and sending out my resume tomorrow.
I was talking with a co-worker tonight about the whole ordeal and he suggested asking my boss to nominate me for an employee award. There's a large company-wide budget of money to award those who "go above and beyond" and us in IT rarely get them because everyone just plain expects us to go above and beyond as part of our job. But working a completely different shift with little notice, at a different location and learning all the duties required to cover that shift in two days should certainly qualify. It won't be nearly the amount I should have gotten for the overtime, et al, but at least it's something. I'm going to call and ask my boss about it tomorrow when I wake up. We'll see what he says.
Yeah. Thanks. If it doesn't get better soon, I may well do that.
No, not the premiere. . . but it was the one with the family in the carwreck on the way to the babyshower -- I wept and wept. Now they're playing the one with Vinnie Van Lowe from Veronica Mars. Guess they're not going to repeat the finale before the premiere.
Oh good lord. My cat just peed on his foot. So I had to rinse him off in the sink. I mean, he's geriatric and all, but good grief. This was just feline stupidity.
