Maybe I can just go to Vegas instead.
YES!!!!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Maybe I can just go to Vegas instead.
YES!!!!
No. Stupid work.
Sad now.
Not as sad as I will be having three meals a day with my crazy boss and no gambling AT ALL. Tell the guys at O'Shea's hi for me?
Dudes. The couple on Bones is Dylan and Kelly?!?
Your life-jacket can be found under your seat, but please do not remove it now. In fact, do not bother to look for it at all. In the event of a landing on water, an unprecedented miracle will have occurred, because in the history of aviation the number of wide-bodied aircraft that have made successful landings on water is zero.
Well, there was a hijaked 767 that made a water landing. While the landing might not have been "successful," many passengers survived. In fact, many of those who didn't survive died because they failed to listen to instructions and inflated their life-jackets while still on the plane.
why is there nothing on tv I wanna watch the one night I get home at a decent hour. I guess this is a sign that I should do the house cleaning that got skipped the last 2 weekends.
Ok, question before I return to finishing these damn papers:
The outside of my right ankle has been, over the past day or so, periodically deciding to hurt like Hell, for a couple minutes, then it stops again. If I really think about it, it aches slightly all the time, but not really.
Any ideas as to what's going on?
Have you been walking more than usual? New shoes? Sharp pain or dull? Is there swelling?
I briefly entertained the same thought, msbelle. And then sloth overcame me. BTW, your question about October? Sure! Sorry, I've been attacked by uncommitting lately. I need a haircut and can't even make an appointment.
The talk about Men in Trees and location had me remembering a movie shot in my hometown, Gas Food Lodging. I remember liking it (enough that now I want to rent it to see if it holds up,) but the thing I remember most was when there was a shot of a building on NMSU campus next to the duck pond. It was cast as a hospital. The entire theater burst into laughter. Now, I suspect in locations more accustomed to being put in film, it doesn't yank you out quite as much. But man, did it ever in my little city! Similar thing happened when I was watching Brokeback Mountain. All it took was a mileage sign to El Paso (I think, details escape me.) I knew that sign! (Sounds silly, for a generic sign. But there are only so many two lane highways heading south.) And I got yanked out of the film, trying to recall exactly what highway it was and where it was.
Today, yes, more walking, but I think this started before. No new shoes. Sharp pain when it's there. No swelling. I was thinking that the connecty bits were poppier on that ankle, but I'm not sure.
