No, not the premiere. . . but it was the one with the family in the carwreck on the way to the babyshower -- I wept and wept. Now they're playing the one with Vinnie Van Lowe from Veronica Mars. Guess they're not going to repeat the finale before the premiere.

Oh good lord. My cat just peed on his foot. So I had to rinse him off in the sink. I mean, he's geriatric and all, but good grief. This was just feline stupidity.
Is it wrong of me to laugh at your cat and his aiming issues?
If anyone's going to be in Pittsburgh this weekend, there is a Pretty Scary Film Festival going on.
My friend in Cleveland ran into a girl who makes horror films--this woman commented on my friend's Innsmouth Swim Team hoodie at Trader Joe's and told her about the film festival.
I'm so tempted to drive over there with her.
I am annoyed to be checking a bag for a two-day trip, but I need hair product! I don't know how meara does it anymore.
Hah! With much difficulty. But I've either been checking a bag (and cursing the extra time it takes) or going to CVS and buying travel size shit when I get there--but you can't really get hair gel, or nice facial moisturizer, so I'm still figuring it out. Which is to say...
don't know, have we seen her hair recently? We've already had disturbing reports on the state of Vortex's lips. Will nobody think of the foamy???!??
My hair has been somewhat sad lately. But usually I've not been anywhere where I care how I look, lately. I had to check a bag to go to Toronto, though. Had to look good. :)
Hint, though: if you put the chapstick in your pants pocket, it will not set off the metal detector, and the TSA will likely never know...(actually I think you can have chapstick now, just not vaseline or lip gloss). And the "essential" K-Y just makes me crazy. Also, flight attendants who are allowed to walk through the security line with a big thing of Starbucks. NOT FAIR!
Starting Monday I get the oh-so-thrilling schedule of 3am-12:30pm Su-Th
Wow, that's...somewhere between a super crappy schedule, and "not as bad as it could be". I mean, hard to get used to sleeping for that, but OTOH, you should be able to run errands after work, or sleep all afternoon so that you can go out with friends at night, if you want...
Also, I said it in Bitches, but have to share here too: I was like, ten feet away from Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson at the Toronto airport earlier tonight!! Liam Neeson is very tall. Pierce Brosnan is very hot.
Rugs in 3 rooms were de-cat haired and vaccuumed.
I fear my iPod is ded. it briefly was recognized by my iTunes tonight, butthen iTunes just froze up.
Kalshane, will you get bonus money for working overnight, too? That would be something....
Poor Mr. Kitty.
Crap, AND I have to pack.

It could be worse. The problem is neither 6pm to 2am nor 1pm to 9pm are really ideal sleeping schedules for having a life. By 9pm on a Friday, most of my friends have already made and started engaging in their plans for the evening.
ION, the DayQuil I brought from home because I'm coughing and generally feel like crap looks like it expired last year. Argh.
No demerits for laughing at Mister Kitty. I have no idea how that particular thing happened. But let me tell you, girlcats, like girls? So much better at the peeing without error thing.

This was brought up at the meeting about the schedule today and my boss didn't have an answer. Apparently HR is hemming and hawing about us getting any kind of shift-differential.
However, we will be working 5 hours of overtime every week, which we will be getting paid time and a half for. (Which isn't too bad, overall. Prior to the big mess, I worked a 9 hour shift every day with a 1 hour unpaid lunch and no breaks. Now we'll be working 9.5 hours a day, with a half hour unpaid lunch and 2 paid 15 minute breaks, so we're only adding a half hour a day to our original shift length and getting paid an hour at time and a half for it.)
