Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

I had bulgoki, jasmine rice and a salad. Will probably have the same tonight as the meat is all defrosted and I didn't cook all of it.

I woke up in the middle of the night thinking the phrase phoe fluffybutt chicken was the funniest thing ever. I have NO idea.

FedEx is telling me U of L in Kentucky doesn't exist. I hate FedEx.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It is pretty funny, sara.

I have issues: I was thinking I need a pedicure, but I was afraid it was too soon since my last one. Too soon for what, you might ask. Too soon for my cheap ass to lay out another $20, I guess. I couldn't remember when I got one last, but I knew it was the night I saw Mother Courage in Central Park, which was the first night. So I searched the NYTimes to figure out when that was, and it turns out it was four weeks ago! I can get a pedicure with a clear conscience!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Maybe FedEx knows something we don't. Or maybe FedEx is aware of the time continuum and knows that U of L at one point didn't exist.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday Meara & Jen K!

Look at this Baby Horsie. I love the bit where the horses in the adjoining pastures run up to see the new baby.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, meara and Jen!

Happy Birthday Jen K!

Happy Birthday meara!

How long does food poisoning last in humans generally?

I think only a couple of days, at most.

I've had a four-day bout from some bad fish, and assume that others have had worse/longer.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Too soon for my cheap ass to lay out another $20,

$20 for a pedicure? Dude, if I could get them that cheap, I'd go once a month. I finally found a place that I can get them for $30 (and have an appt for tomorrow!). Before that, I was paying $35-45. Why are Chicago pedis so expensive?? Why???

I woke up in the middle of the night thinking the phrase phoe fluffybutt chicken was the funniest thing ever. I have NO idea.

BWAH! Where did you even come up with that???

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Happy Birthday meara & Jen!

NYC mani/pedis are one of the few things cheaper here than anywhere else-- there's lots of competition.

I know, I know. That's why it's especially stupid that I "restrict" myself -- it's not like I don't waste $20 here and there all the time anyway.
