Rio, I defer to someone with better comprehensive memory.

I think last time I was in city court, it was a different building. Or I got the crappy courtrooms. Cause this was all 40 ft ceilings and wainscotting and plaster over clearly huge marble blocks and other architectual features I don't know terms for and was quite lovely. The stairs had stained glass vaults and were all peachy marble pomp. Though they were rather warm and stinky and I could really do without guys in white jumpsuits and chains eying us creepily. But my courtroom was all wood trim and uncomfy but pretty chairs and pews, floor to ceiling openeable windows and blessed, blessed monster window a/c units. Which the judge mentioned multiple times, as did the clerk guy who was chatting me up and who sounded like Alex Keaton. I think they were very proud of their a/c.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think "freeze frame" was from Innocence.

The Monkeypants conversation is the very end of What's My Line Part II.

I'm trying to think of other romantic comedies I like that aren't Jane Austen.

The other great Willow/Oz scene is where Willow tries to seduce him with the Barry White, which is in Amends.

The ice cream scene from When She Was Bad.

I have big love for The Sure Thing, but I can't think of a specific scene that's good and romantic.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Heath Ledger holding back Julia Stiles' hair when she vomited was sweet in 10 Things I Hate About You.

Angel showing up at The Prom.

Oops--romantic, but NOT a comedy.

Oh and when Oz asks Willow out in Phases:

Oz: I'm gonna ask you to go out with me tomorrow night. And I'm kinda nervous about it, actually. It's interesting.

Willow: Oh. Well, if it helps at all, I'm gonna say yes.

Oz: Yeah, it helps. It-it creates a comfort zone. Do you wanna go out with me tomorrow night?

Willow: (cringes and slaps her hand to her forehead) Oh! I can't!

Oz: Well, see, I like that you're unpredictable.

Willow: Oh, it's just it's Buffy's birthday, and we're throwing her a surprise party.

Oz: It's okay.

Willow: But you could come. If you want to.

Oz: Well, I don't wanna crash.

Willow: No, it's fine! Well, you could be m... my date.

Oz: All right. I'm in.

Willow smiles back, and after a moment indicates she has to go. Oz nods to give her leave. She starts away, smiling widely.

Willow: (to herself) I said 'date'.

Oz and Willow's sweetness just kills me.

There's also great rom com patter in Sports Night bet. Dana/Casey, Dan/Teri Polo character, Jeremy/Natalie, and many would say, Dan & Casey.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Love, Actually is fairly full of romantic scenes. Actually, ok, this was boyfriend's suggestion, and I think he's right but there's a lot of chasing after the girl in that movie.
