You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

I have vacuumed, mopped, thrown away old Monitors and shampooed my carpet. The stains are no longer there to irritate me. (Still battling for some $$ for that. Let it slide for a while.)

Got some blood orange soda from Target. It's good, though a little sweet. I'd cut it with some seltzer if I had any.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Right now I'm watching TWSoP on ESPN and saw a bit about Phil Lak and Jennifer Tilly and I have to say, DAMN, girl looks gooooood. She's such a sweetheart and is so excited about playing cards. I adore the two of them together.

They totally dote on each other. And she looks good in person too. Curvy and well-rounded, well kept skin.

Always Anti-fascist!

Fucking hooples, I swear. Wow, if they think I curse too much, it must get crowded under their rock. Because I am recent convert to the habit and it used to cause me total pain. Honestly. My life got harder so my words got harder, too.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Re: Paula Fortunato, I'm heartened to know that at age 43, I could still achieve my dream of becoming a rich old fart's trophy wife.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm heartened to know that at age 43, I could still achieve my dream of becoming a rich old fart's trophy wife.

I know! And then get Cruise busted down. Life isn't over yet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm convinced that having a name like Fortunato helps.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Names can be changed. It is still within our scope.

Last week at the comic store, a guy with the deepest voice in the entire world asked me about what I, as a black woman, liked in comics. Strange question--or strange for me to try and answer.

This week at the comic store, I learn it was him.

Honestly, his voice was so deep he made my head hurt. When the guy at the store described him, he described him as having "the deepest voice in the world." Which is precisely how I'd been describing him.
