Totally off topic: Anyone in the LA area (Valley specifically) ever use a pet-sitting service that they liked? I need one that'll administer fluids to my cat, too.
GC, I had a great cat sitter in LA, Kat Nelson of Kat's sitting. [link] I don't think she goes into the Valley, but she might know someone who does, and I would definitely trust her recommendations.
The lede on the Repub's weather story for today was "Phoenix doesn't seem so bad now that the rest of the nation's having record temps..."
Whatever.
We still can top most records by about fifteen degrees.
Yeah, but the humidity makes a difference.
So:
Jessica Simpson looks like she just got off a tough day of prostituting herself. I can get on board with the see through clothes, but everything above the neck is just all wrong. Showing off your nipples is one thing, looking like you've been walking up and down Robertson Blvd all night asking men if they'd like a good time is another.

I dunno - her dress doesn't seem
that
see-through to me. Plus the flash photography probably made it look more see-through than what it is in normal light.
it seemed pretty see through in some shots, but not so much in others. But mostly , she looked tired.
That's see through enough for me.
Honestly, if my outing has even a small likelihood of having flash photography, I'm going to find out which of my clothes pass and which don't. It's a predictable job hazard for celebrities, and I can't work out why they don't take precautions. I mean, if they care.
Which I very much would.
Another family member has come out of the closet. I think that no one is related to more lesbians than we are. Sheesh.
Why on earth would you go to the Ivy looking like that? The dress I can buy the flash-makes-it-seethrough explanation, but her hair! She just looks like ass.
With some dresses, I buy the flashbulb explanation. I see the fabric on that dress, and it looks obvious that it's a thin see-through fabric.
"What are wearing to the Ivy, Jess?"
"Blue chiffon and a belt."
"Uh-huh."
