Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Should the comma in the brackets stay or go?

I would say stay.

Sarameg, I'm glad your dad is okay.

I don't really worry about him, but sometimes think maybe I should start.

Our wings are not tired.

Yikes Sarameg. I'd say your dad had a more exciting weekend than I did. Glad it ended up ok. Did they find the hikers?

What is even happening?

Sheeesh, sarameg. So scary. I'm glad he's safe and sound.

As far as the gift thing, I guess I'll stick $50 in a "Have a good marriage" card and be done.

For perspective, this is the amount I spent on my cousin's recent wedding gift, as a combo gift from my parents and myself. With no additional shower gifts (or shower) ahead of time. The ONE time I've spent more than $40 or so on a non-relative's wedding gift, I was the Best Man.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sophia, I don't know! I'm hoping it will not be traumatic. This is why I avoid social situations.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The comma should stay.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Concur. Comma stays. You're setting off a subordinate clause, and you have a comma at the beginning, so you need one at the end of the clause too.

"My mother, who is Ayn Rand, is into kinky concrete architechture."

The other hikers were found/met up with another team about 6 hours after my dad's team went in. Because of the terrain, turning back wasn't an option.
