Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Hi Cindy! My interview is tomorrow afternoon, from 1:30-3:00. I'm assuming that if they take one look at me and think, "Er, nsm," it'll go a lot more quickly. I'm hoping that they'll be so fascinated with my many, manifold talents that we'll end up talking long into the evening.

I hope your assistant's recovery goes well, SuziQ.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{Nora}}} hope you are feeling better soon. And don't worry about your coworkers. If they get shirty with you, just cough On them.

{{{beth}}} be good to yourself.

Calli, I'll share some of my awakeness with you, I don't need it. In fact I'll take all the gronk right now and just go back to bed with it, as I have today off.

Continued car~ma would be appreciated. We have a lead on a car which is probably not a long-haul car but which might get us through while we search for the long-haul car.

My tummy's still not feeling really thrilled with me. I wish I had some gingerale.

Gronk. I got a little sleep last night and the night before. Sometimes it feels like I'll never relax or sleep well again, but I'm hoping that's not really true.

Now I will shower and head to the hospital again, and hopefully bring S home today.

Yay for S maybe coming home!

I am most frustrated. I just got an e-mail from a half.com seller, letting me know that she couldn't find the item she was supposed to ship me and was giving me a refund. Fine.

Except that I ordered this item on the 14th. It was supposed to ship by the 17th. It is now the 22nd. I should have possibly received it by now. Now I have to reorder the thing, and I may not get it in time for classes to start.

I sent the seller a nasty e-mail. Grrrrr...

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yay for Emily!

Yay for S coming home!

Yay for me finding an apartment! (Which is tiny teeny tiny ickle, but really rather nice)

And I just got off the phone with S, and it's looking pretty definite that she'll be home today. I think when we do get home, we'll both try to get some much needed rest, and start on the bajillionty things we need to do now starting tomorrow. They've waited this long.

I don't know if that last post made a lot of sense, but screw it.

Also YAY EMILY!
