Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

And I just got off the phone with S, and it's looking pretty definite that she'll be home today. I think when we do get home, we'll both try to get some much needed rest, and start on the bajillionty things we need to do now starting tomorrow. They've waited this long.

I don't know if that last post made a lot of sense, but screw it.

Also YAY EMILY!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sleep is good. Very important, and makes everything else much more deal-with-able.

Punishingly Intricate

Congratulations, Emily! And yay for S coming home. Definitely take today to rest. rest rest rest

My cute-accented invisible roommate was Too Good to be True. He's moving out at the end of the month (to move in with his sister...stupid familial obligation). ARRGGHHHH. Now I really have to find someone else. I was depending on that rent money starting to come in. I HATE feeling like I have to depend on other people (financially not emotionally) especially because it's my own stupid fault for not being more financially adept. I'm too old for this. And, in an unrelated matter, I have pissed off my best friend while trying to compliment her. And it's making me clench my teeth like crazy and my jaw is killing me. wah wah wah.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's great news, Sean.

And, in an unrelated matter, I have pissed off my best friend while trying to compliment her.

Poor, lisah. Best friends ought to cut a little more slack.

billytea is awake. Katie Bee is coming over to bake a peach pie in our kitchen for JZ. Emmett, bt and I will be making an outing somewhere this morning. There may be park. There may be Mission. There may be zoo. There may be the Randall Museum. We'll see.

Congrats, Emily! Also to S and Sean on the homecoming!
