Mostly lurking...

So, Em, maybe I shouldn't have thrown out that catalog with teachers' stuff last week, since you're teaching middle school now. Oh, well. I'm sure you'll start getting TONS of them soon.

Blech. Still feeling blech this morning. Need to start accomplishing something. Still blech.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Hooray for Emily! Middle school will be exciting and fun, I hope. You can get them mathy before they are too cool for such things!

Yeah, most of the time when I get colds they end up settling into my chest.

OMG, NoiseDesign and I are as one. And it's not just the ND initials. I never had pneumonia, but when I was a regular smoker, I'd get crazy bronchitis, it resulted in low level athsma all the time now, and whenever I get a cold I am hacking hacking hacking to get that crap out of lungs in the hope that I don't have to get anti-b's to do it for me.

Still hacking and making my co-commuters and co-workers hate me lots

I think it's one of the reasons my lower back is protesting, as well. I feel SO much pressure in the sore spot when I'm coughing.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congratulations, Emily!

And I'm glad S is doing better, Sean!

I'm back from the wilds of Saginaw, MI. Not enough caffeine in the world to cure my gronk today, folks. In the world.

And now back to my in-basket.

What is even happening?

Calli, welcome back. When is your interview?

Sean, I'm glad to read that S is doing better. Much more of that, please.

Have people been in touch with Beverly?

Yay Emily!!!!!!!!!!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Congrats Emily!!!

Am feeling gronktastic this morning.

Yesterday we got the news that my assistant is still under medical care and will not be reviewed for return to work until November, at the earliest. Sigh. Medically, it sounds like she is doing as well as can be expected. It doesn't sound as though they are doing more chemo, she is just recovering from all the treatments so far. Plus trying to put her life in order now without her husband.
