Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Since everyone likes to share their Buffista dreams, I thought I'd share my most recent. Which, unfortunately, I can only remember one little excerpt from, but it was funny.

I was in a Walmart or Target store (one of those humungo kind of places) with Sparky and her DH. For some reason we were walking around the store doing yoga poses. For those familiar, it was pretty much all Warrior 3 pose. But, Sparky and her DH kept showing me up by being able to reach over their heads and grab the foot that was off the ground. I got so jealous, I woke up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What is Restaurant Week? That link isn't sating my curiosity.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Restaurant Week is a week or two when participating restaurants offer a special prix fixe that's (in theory*) cheaper than either their normal prix fixe or ordering a la carte. It's supposed to let you try out restaurants that would otherwise be out of your price range.

Before this year, the prix fixe used to be the year, most of the time, but I've noticed that most Restaurant Weeks are bumping them up nowadays. ($30.06? WTF is that supposed to be?)

*I say "in theory" because, at least in NYC, it doesn't always work out that way. When they're offered, the RW lunch specials are normally a much better value than the dinners.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

the A's owning the Mariners this year.

Yes, they do. And I was there last night to watch #15 in person. Gah, it was beautiful.

AL West is such a weird division.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I sympathize with all the migraine sufferers. Today I woke up with a headache as big as Kansas and the urge to heave. Three hours and two pieces of bread later the tummy is slightly more settled, but the head still kills. Blech. Fortunately work doesn't start for me until this afternoon, but ugh. I don't know how you guys do it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is someone missing their gronk this morning? I seem to have more than I should.

move out and draw fire

Mallory was awake from 4:00 am to 5:30 am, so I have had nothing but gronk today. It's almost 7 pm (and still 100 degrees), and I'm still engronkified.

I hate waiting. Friends from Jordan are getting in today and we're supposed to have dinner and they haven't called yet. I'm hungry. Dinner is probably two hours off still.
