I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't find areligious in m-w.com. I use the word, but more to signify my not caring.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I've prefer the term agnostic. - because somewhere along the line i read a definition that said something along the line that the question - does god exsist or not exsist is not an important question. and to me it really isn't.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have a friend who's a hard athiest (and a bit annoyingly prostletyzey, so I tend to avoid the subject with him) who believes in ghosts. I see this as an inconsistency. He, obviously, does not.

Thanks, beth. I still think non-practicing is closest, since areligious doesn't touch on belief.

I'd see that as an inconsistency, too.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

How so? What do ghosts have to do with God?

It seems to me that once you believe in the supernatural it seems silly to declare God an impossibility.

OK, I'm a theist. Always good to have an ID. I believe there's a God/Goddess/Bob/Something out there, but I'm not sure who he/she/it is--though I use a default identifier (Hail, Eris!). I don't believe She's going to intercede on my behalf, but I do see Her as the ultimate shoulder to cry on. I may not get help, but I do get divine sympathy, which is surprisingly comforting.

Alternately, She's got a twisted sense of humor and the most nervewracking way of maneuvering events in my favor.

Maybe he considers ghosts scientifically probable. Though I really don't think God and the supernatural are mutually exclusive. He may be more sensical as a soft, non-proselytyzing atheist, though.
