Compassionately intolerant

Happy birthday Plei and belated b'day Cass! Many felicitations to you both.

Today is the one year anniversary of the baby I helped my friends birth at home. It canNOT be that long, can it? He's beautiful and happy and a real gift to the world. Being a part of his entry into this life continues to be a gift to me.

The Big Wedding ™ this weekend was a huge success. I had a great time and officiated a ceremony that got a lot of laughs and a few tears. My work here is done!

Okay, not actually done, in the done sense. The Great Peace March 20 year Reunion, which I have been organizing for the past year, is happening this week...eep.

All the, to be expected, last minute problems are surfacing, including some clever new ones that are stressing me quite. Plus? The weather is expected to include thunderstorms.

I have an, in-the-over-all-scheme-of-the-Universe-unimportant ~ma request. I worked so hard on the March, keeping the group moving with no money and no insurance...and had almost perfect success. And yet? I'm honestly a little frightened that people will not have the great experience I really, really want them to have this weekend. Please, if you have any extra good vibes lying around, could you direct them to Lorton VA...especially the no serious rain vibes.

Thanks very, very much.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fay, new adventures! New adventures!

Plei, happy birthday!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

A hugely happy and joyous birthday to you, o best and beautifullest of Pleis!

I love hearing about Katerina Bee's family. Makes me all hopeful for families in general.

{{{Fay}}} I have this sad vision of you like B.J. immediately after the final shot of the final episode of M*A*S*H, all lost and alone in the empty camp after everyone else has left, in this in-between space where one huge story is over and the next hasn't started yet. It makes me want to hug the stuffing out of you.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Gods, you just made me cry. Fay shouldn't be that sad, ever! {{{{Fay}}}}

Because books.

I *sobbed* at the end of that episode. A friend of mine was a huge M*A*S*H fan, too, and the phone rang as the credits rolled. I picked it up and it was her. We cried together for about five minutes before saying anything.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday Plei!

Very happy to read good news Gud. I hope it was a wonderful father’s day for you.

Good luck on the apartment vw. I have taken a hair dryer to a frozen A/C unit. Then again we get quite desperate about these things here.

{{Fay}} Every time I made a move (past life) I was so excited about the new adventure and so upset to be leaving the comfort of the moment. Ease of transition ~ma to you in heavy dosage.
