But, uh, how do you really feel about that?;) Fay, yeah, wrod. Because just like family, a whole lot of stuff sounds better in theory than what you really get. I'd be praying that wasn't a metaphor. Not that I'm the Special Day type, either. But it makes my mother sad when I say that my processional would probably be "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" but it's not very likely I'll find somebody to trust for life. Life can be very long.
Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
In fairness though, if you released butterflies or any other kind of insects at a get together, at least a third of the congregation would throw a complete freak-out.
a really pretty and iridescent-winged SLAUGHTERHOUSE OF FLUTTERY DOOM!!!!
Sounds like a Tim Minear-Neal Gaiman collaboration.
And I'll join in the sucky landlord chorus. They put in a new dishwasher in my apartment about a year ago. How many times have I had to call them to "fix" it? Five. So far. The last time, the repair guy called me and told me why it kept breaking. However, knowing why it keeps breaking and stopping it from breaking in the future? Apparently not related in any way. The downside to having a staff fix-it person instead of paying for repairs every time is that it's just cheaper for them to have me call them (in progressively bitchier tones) every couple of months instead of replacing the damn thing with a working model.
Calli went to exactly same the Minear-Gaiman place I was thinking of. I think it's the Dru-meets-Delirium vibe of the whole thing. And yes, there's a part of me that reallyreallyreally wants to see it, but that could be the sick bad wrong part of me.
I think it's the Dru-meets-Delirium vibe of the whole thing.
Ooh, can you imagine the conversations? I've just started re-reading SEASON OF MISTS, so Delirium just got introduced.
I missed the info about dragonflies and butterflies -- what happens when they get together?
askye, you really must read the whole story: JZ "Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters." Jul 19, 2006 6:36:37 pm PDT
Dragonflies get lunch on the wing.

Apparently it's lunch time for dragonflies and the end times for the butterflies.
COMPLETE AND TOTAL CUNTING BOLLOCKS.
t in love with this turn of phrase
vw, ugh. I'm so sorry that the Nuva Ring isn't doing right by you! I had some craptacular cramping the first few months but that eventually went away.
