That's hysterical! (The dragonflies feasting on the butterflies and ruining the bridezilla's day). I see if you google "What do dragonflies eat?" there's information that they eat flying insects including butterflies.
Although if you google dragonflies and butterflies mostly you get things for sale depicting the two living in harmony and nothing to indicate the actual carnage that will occur.
Other good wedding theme choices: noble, soaring, soul-stirring eagles! Paired with soft, fluffy, cuddly bunnies!
It's a nice, cool day here today. So happy for the lack of extreme heat.
Is it late enough in the day to start drinking?
Absoultely!
It's a good thing I'm the type that does one night stands. DH and I are are on year sixteen of a one night stand. I didn't know his last name until night number 2.
Go you and DH!
To clarify, I wasn't saying that I was opposed to one night stands in my comment, just that the idea that one night stands are easier or better than long term relationships doesn't hold true for me, likely because of body image demons. That's probably all I should say because I kind of promised Teacup Guy that I wouldn't discuss our sex life on the internet.
{{{Plei and Lillian}}} I hope she feels better soon and that you get to nap.
hm, I think that researching fantasy Tuscan vacations is NOT a good way to stay motivated for the comparatively mundane tasks at hand.

Did you get lured in by the Globe's travel section too?
I just paid a kid to mow my lawn. that felt very strange. but good. Neigbor K was outside when I got home. Neighbor is obssesed by lawns . And I said something about ours needing mowing. so he said his kids would do it for 5 bucks ( tiny CA lawn) - they also did the back lawn - so I gave the kids 8 . They did a really good job. they edgged as well as mowed. Dad has taught them well. It was kinda nice to see them thrilled with the money.
YES, dammit.
They're eeevil. It's not like I don't already desperately want to take a trip to Italy. No need for them to make it worse.
Well, if you can't get to Tuscany today, get thee outside. We've got as close to a perfect New England summer day out there as we've had all summer. It ain't gonna last (unless Emily took all the nassssty weather with her to Frisco).
