Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

When you shower at a laundrymat, do you put in quarters? Or is it a flat rate thing?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Quandary indeed, Suzi. You've had so little me-time (that is to say, you-time. Suzi-time. not -t-time, though you haven't had much of that either) lately, I can see wanting to not be able to go to Stockton. OTOH, having work stuff not work is rarely really good.

In short, I got no actual help to offer, but I can validate that GAH.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Food Factory mozzarella fingers (better than any others) and lemo-tea.

Oh, TEH YUM. And now I miss sitting out on the FF deck at 1 a.m., eating mozza fingers & drinking beer and enjoying the light. ALSO! Hanging out on the deck at the Boatel and having people pull their boats up and start grilling fresh-caught salmon right then and there. (The Boatel's right on the river. It's a beached paddleboat. Hence the name.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What -t said, Suzi.

JZ and other local people, when you get a moment, could you look at my LJ--I just put up a house decor question.

That sounds unbelievably fantastic.

Suzi, I really think you should stay home and enjoy the alone time, fwiw.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Thanks -t, sj, and Lee. I'm still at the office. I JUST got my data to where it should have been 2:30 yesterday, so I'm only one day off schedule now instead of two (this doesn't count that my deadline is two days early this month).

Will have to see what is happening at home, but I really am thinking of just staying home (home being relative - work, mani/pedi, shopping at World Market, movie...).

I can't take time off of work for a mental health day cause I'm using all my time off for softball travels. Plus, during the week, the house has other people in it (oh noes). And the three weekends after this are slammed - so this is my chance for the next while.

I just feel like I'm abandoning K-Bug.

Have you already told her you might not be able to go?

If you don't take care of you a little bit, you're not going to be able to be much good to her.
