Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just feel like I'm abandoning K-Bug.

If you don't take care of you a little bit, you're not going to be able to be much good to her.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

When you shower at a laundrymat, do you put in quarters? Or is it a flat rate thing?

Usually you pay a flat fee for a certain amount of time (which may or may not be enforced, depending upon how busy they are). This fee often includes fresh towels!!

Now I'm starting to miss Fairbanks. I haven't really done that for a while. I may have to go visit in a year or two.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have apparently not read Beep Me in a while. Much ~ma for beth's DH and friend, and Aimee's friends.

Mostly lurking...

So, I just ran to Wendy's to get some dinner for Emily. The couple in front of me made me wish I had a camera with me. I thought they were cute from the back (he was VERY tall and she was VERY short and petite), and they just looked sweet. Then she turned to her side after she ordered her food, and I caught a look at her front. She looked, I almost hate to say it, precious. She was probably about five months pregnant and was holding a tiny, sleeping puppy, resting it on her little bump. It was so sweet. I had to control my urge to run and pet the puppy and rub her belly!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That sounds so cute, vw.

This session is over now. There's an entire day with no kids here, and no responsibilities for me. I don't know what to do with it. It's supposed to be nice weather, so maybe I'll go for a walk by the river.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

School snark of the week: "I hope I can use the correct grammer".

Oooh, on my evaluations, one of the questions they asked the students was "What do you think was the most valuable thing you learned this session?" One boy answered, "I think it was algebra." Another, in the "Do you have any additional comments?" section, wrote "I was hiccupping while I wrote this."

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I talked with K-Bug and she is ok with me staying home. I told DH I needed to stay home to work and he pouted.

Now he wants CJ to stay home with me.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Man, Suzi... I (and yes, mememe) would need the time as really alone. But then, well, I am like that. I vant to be alone, I like being alone sometimes.
