[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Suzi, I really think you should stay home and enjoy the alone time, fwiw.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Thanks -t, sj, and Lee. I'm still at the office. I JUST got my data to where it should have been 2:30 yesterday, so I'm only one day off schedule now instead of two (this doesn't count that my deadline is two days early this month).

Will have to see what is happening at home, but I really am thinking of just staying home (home being relative - work, mani/pedi, shopping at World Market, movie...).

I can't take time off of work for a mental health day cause I'm using all my time off for softball travels. Plus, during the week, the house has other people in it (oh noes). And the three weekends after this are slammed - so this is my chance for the next while.

I just feel like I'm abandoning K-Bug.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Have you already told her you might not be able to go?

If you don't take care of you a little bit, you're not going to be able to be much good to her.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

When you shower at a laundrymat, do you put in quarters? Or is it a flat rate thing?

Usually you pay a flat fee for a certain amount of time (which may or may not be enforced, depending upon how busy they are). This fee often includes fresh towels!!

Now I'm starting to miss Fairbanks. I haven't really done that for a while. I may have to go visit in a year or two.

Mostly lurking...

So, I just ran to Wendy's to get some dinner for Emily. The couple in front of me made me wish I had a camera with me. I thought they were cute from the back (he was VERY tall and she was VERY short and petite), and they just looked sweet. Then she turned to her side after she ordered her food, and I caught a look at her front. She looked, I almost hate to say it, precious. She was probably about five months pregnant and was holding a tiny, sleeping puppy, resting it on her little bump. It was so sweet. I had to control my urge to run and pet the puppy and rub her belly!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That sounds so cute, vw.

This session is over now. There's an entire day with no kids here, and no responsibilities for me. I don't know what to do with it. It's supposed to be nice weather, so maybe I'll go for a walk by the river.
