My Barbies got haircuts, were drawn on with sharpies and I have some vague memories of sticking them with pins.
After reading all this I think it's a wonder my older sisters didn't torture me more than they did -- it's not that they're especially nice people (although they're not mean either -- well, okay one of them is kind of mean), so what I'm impressed by is the Iron Rule my mother must have had over them to keep them from killing me.

There was no physical fighting in our house. or door slamming. and although there was lots of bickering... I think even then we knew it was bickering. tourtures - well, my little sister was often thrown in the garbage can. ( trash can actually - not a place where food garbage went) partly because she fit. Middle sister- had many stuffed pigs. It was fun to steal her miss piggy puppet and place her in the roasting pan with an apple in her mouth. and I had an Odie ( the stupid dog from garfield) that they would pin by his tounge to the ceiling. of course, some sitting in the middle might suddely be squished. or some one lying on the floor would get sat on. but I don't remember any really mean stuff. except - I still have the ablity to tickle both of them without even touching them.

I skipped to the end. I made a colossal mistake in not paying attention to my bank accounts. Grr. Pretty sure I bounced at least one check. Grr. Plenty of money to cover things, but only if deposits and transfers are made! Now I'm singing vw's I'm So Stupid song. At least tomorrow is a banking day.
