There is a 0% chance (p < 0.05) that I would be of any help.
Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hee!
I want to help, Gloomcookie, but I don't know if I can. My brain has deleted most stats info to make room for fruitless worrying and plots of books I didn't like very much but remember ak the same.
Seconding (thirding?) the recommendation to send the letter.
I might add a bit about today’s conversation, saying that you really appreciate the call, and are glad that you can work this out.
I'd really prefer the 24 hours we're allowed, but try to be generous in that regard when I can."
I would not say this. If you do, she will continue doing what she has been doing, and say “but you said that we could”
I'd really prefer the 24 hours we're allowed, but try to be generous in that regard when I can.
What Vortex said, do not say this.
Dear Bridal Shoe Fuckers,
No, I will not pay $90 for a pair of shoes that I can neither try on nor return.

There are no Pirates in my afternoon. They have been postponed till tomorrow. Also?
Is the Cape hunting dog the one that brings food back for mouth-to-mouth transfer to the puppies?
Most canids do this: wolves, foxes, jackals, etc. Also many bird species. But the Cape dogs are remarkable for their rate of success.
if Emily let him in (I thought he let himself in) yesterday, yeah, what he did still doesn't respect all your rights, but it's helping you guys, if he's putting in a screen (or whatever he was doing).
Yeah, I did let him in. Based on past experience, however, if I hadn't let him in he would most likely have come in anyway. So no, he didn't intrude (although, I gotta say, I was in no way ready to have anyone in my room, and it was not at all convenient to move ALL MY FURNITURE so he could get to the window with no notice at all) but they have in the past let themselves in when no one was here. So if I hadn't been awake... well, it wouldn't have been a very pleasant way to wake up.
What he was doing, by the way, was replacing the rice-paper shutter because it's faded and a bit torn. But since it's been that way at least for the four years I've been here, it wasn't particularly for our benefit.
Anyway, I'm equally reluctant to stir things up, but the problem with the "I'd really prefer the 24 hours we're allowed, but try to be generous in that regard when I can" conversation is that that's what vw said both on the phone and in a letter she sent a month ago when they started showing the place to renters. They've already had written notice that this is what we want and they're not doing it.
So, we'll see what happens.
What Vortex and sj said: stick with "we need 24 hours notice." Period.
I want to cry and/or kill someone.
