I loved both Gud and Teppy's pictures. Gud, she really does look so relaxed and natural, which is so unusual for a beginner. I wish I had a million dollars to throw your way so she could have her own pony and lessons and everything. Alas.
Steph's pictures were pretty cool. It looked like much fun was had.
I think we might do some riding lessons eventually, but there has been too much spending (swimming lessons, horse camp, the simple-set pool, and especially the garden) already and our finances are still recovering from a difficult fall and winter.
OTOH, the IRS sent a letter saying we owed another $7,000 in taxes. After going though the process, we ended up with an extra refund of $174 instead.

I think you are right to make her stay with this team. She needs to finish this. I am guessing if she does stick through a season or two with this team , she will be playing that much better. Honestly, going through this will make her see the difference between DH's dream and her reality. The last thing she needs is regrets about a possibility that may have never been there. As for Dh, he nees to look at the child that is there , not at the child he wants. It isn't evil on his part, plots of parents do it. and if K-bug had never gotten on this team , he may have never had to face it.but now he does, so it is hard on him too.
