Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, here's a link where a guy claims to have made the photoshopped HK Vader: [link] If you go here [link] you can see the original.

Also, the non-photoshopped Darth Vera, the Sith yenta: [link]

eta: The second link has a different picture of what GC linked to....

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Wow -- what are the odds?!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seriously! A girl I knew in high school got a jacket back from the guy who had stolen it via passing him in the hall wearing it, but that was at the same school! (Dumb criminals.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm pretty sure HK Darth Vader needs legions of HK stormtroopers to help him take over the galaxy.

WITH CUTENESS!!!!!

Hey, is Victor around, or anyone else who can talk to me about Worcester? I'm trying to figure out the best way to get from NYC to Worcester. It's for work, so they would pay for a plane + car service, but that just seems so fucking stupid. It seems that I can't take the train, since I have to be there for noon and it seems like there's only a train that gets in at 1pm. Thoughts?

Edit: Maybe Amtrak to the commuter rail. Hmm.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

In the heat wave that is now gone from this area I finally figured out why hot is worse for me. When it is cold I can imagine doing things to warm up - blanket , more clothes shower, moving , whavtever. When it goet hot I can do much other than be miserable. even going to a friends pool to sit in th ewater - seems like more than I can manage. but I think the heat insomnia makes it 1000x worse. because once I got some sleep, the heat didn't seem to beat me up so badly.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Ugh. Heat insomnia. The last few weeks, it's felt like I won't get a good night's sleep until October.

Compassionately intolerant

My favorite theft-return story involves a beater 69 Beetle that an officer I worked with bought for $50 off a friend. It was stolen and he wrote it off as...well, no big loss.

4 years later, the cops (I should say, other cops) called to say that they stopped a car and found a VIN number associated with him.

He got the Beetle back. It has been 'blueprinted' (rebuilt to stock perfection from the rubber up) and was, at that time, worth about $4,000.

Good car-ma!
