Oh Suela, I am so sorry. You gave him a good life and kept him from more pain at the end. It's terribly sad, but you were very good to him.
Well, it's more she just started in real estate, and while she flat out told me she's basically an apprentice, should I decide to go that route, I'd use her for scuttlebutt. After talking to her, she knows I'd be looking for someone very experienced, extremely knowlegeable of the area , mellow and handholdy and agrees she's not that yet.
Still not sure of where I'm headed though.
oh, I thought you meant job stuff. still cool.

Yeah, well. OTOH, another ex-field person is in HR. So.
Um, what do you say to an 11 year old when she tells you her mom is having a sleepover, from the nursing home? I hope "Have a good time and tell her hello" suffices.
Oy.
You have my sympathies, Suela. I still can't drive past the emergency vet where we finally had to put my doggie down over a year and a half ago.
Also, is no one talking about Mel Gibson's anti-Semitic rant here? Or is that old news?
Thank you, everyone, it really means a lot--especially from those of you who've met him.
He was a dog with a lot of personality--he had the best nature of any dog I've ever met, even if he wasn't the best-behaved dog ever. I don't think I'll ever find another dog like him (and I'm not going to try).
{{{Consuela}}} 15 is plenty old for a dog. You did right, not letting him suffer anymore. If there's a doggie heaven, he's up there playing frisbee catch. Or taking a nap.
I wish Mel's rants would end his movie career, but they probably won't.
