See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Suela, I'm so sorry. It must have been awful to see such a sweet, good-natured boy as your Beast was in such pain. I'm so sorry for the hole he's left in your life, but so glad you were able to give him release from that pain with his loving human by his side. And I'm glad you have friends right there to be with you this afternoon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm so sorry, Consuela. Others have said it better, but I hope you find the peace that I'm sure your dog has now.

Well, I am safely home from Kentucky and seeing my family's 3rd least-likely-to-marry member get hitched in faux Hawaiian splendor. I successfully delivered the gift payload for the entire Arkansas contingent of relatives, and can no longer claim to have never heard of strawberry-pimento cheese sandwiches.

Ah, Consuela, that's so hard. Right, but painfully awfully hard.

I'm back from a pleasent bbq. I'm so not a crowds person, but I put in my time, and had some lovely interludes. One was a former coworker. She did a 180 career change, married a current star in the former line of work and had a couple of BEAUTIFUL Italian boyos (both parents are Italy natives.) OMG, cute! The upside is that we reconnected (better- before we'd been just acquaintances) and I'm now on the babysitting list! Plus, she's connected to some stuff I might be interested in. But those babies, oy. So freaking adorable. The youngest is the spitting image of his dad, and since his dad is a babyface, it's almost eerie.
