Either one could be doing that, actually. Cipro really upset my stomach, in addition to its allergic-reaction-inducing qualities.

tommyrot, I think you should post a picture of your HIDEOUS EYE for us. If you're going to go through partially disfiguring medical procedures, it's only right and appropriate that you share with us. We're your friends, after all.
I don't want to ruin anyone's appetite.
Also, I did not know that it was possible for an eyeball to be swollen. I suppose if I had thought about it, I might have figured it was possible, but....
Anyway, the pain is much less. The swelling does give the annoying feeling that there's something between the eyeball and the lid... but that's getting better too.
I vote medical tourism to Tbilisi, Georgia.

The doctor might be able to give you something steroidalic to offset the allergic reaction.
