Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

chikat! I couldn't find my Buffista Cook Book so yes!

I'm going to make a double batch so I can have some after the party. Maybe a triple batch so the bride can too.

Always Anti-fascist!

ita, wow. I'm pleased that you'd consider me as toaster recipient.Especially as I've been hoping you'd like the Wire, anyway. I still do, of course. And it's funny because it didn't take for me at first either. I thought possibly some critics were being juvenilely pleased by getting to hear profanities, but that's why they like Nip/ Tuck(except for the ones that think Julian Mcmahon is a sexy bitch, of course.) There is a lot more to Deadwood than "cocksucker", though."

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Is it ever okay to leave work because of boy-driven low self-worth? Is that like sick time, or vacation. I can't even focus and everything is taking so long to accomplish.

OMG, Megan. How soon did you notice??

I didn't! My coworker alerted me about 5 minutes after. I don't think anyone else saw. Luckily we only have 1 man working here.

Trudy! Do you still need a pimiento cheese recipe?

Did my underpants revelation remind you of pimento cheese?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Robin, you so have my sympathy about the dentist stuff. And the too much money for unfun things stuff, too. I have no doubt, however, that your party will be Teh Awesome, because you and the BF ROCK!

I am still bummed that I didn't throw myself a birthday party last year when I was turning an age worth celebrating, but it just didn't make sense with my MiL going through major surgery at the same time and all. Oh well.

Speaking of birthday parties, I need to start planning a certain little girl's.

Only if you plan on doing something completely self-indulgent, like getting a facial and drinking martinis with Polgara. Then it's like taking a personal day and it's totally legit.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

pimento cheese recipe

Trudy, I emailed my dad and he couldn't find it last night. He said he'd keep looking, though, so I'll send it to you when he finds it. It may be too late for your current function, but maybe it'll come in handy someday :)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think the only thing not allowed is wallowing.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Pimiento Cheese:

1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 T Worcestshire (sp??) sauce
1 T yellow mustard
1 - 1.5 C mayo
1 large jar pimientos (keep in mind, this is still a pretty small jar, but there's a tiny jar and a not-so-tiny jar. Get the bigger one.)

Dump everything in a blender or food processor and blend till your desired smoothness. I like mine fairly smooth.

It will be runnier than you expect, but it will thicken up on refrigeration.

If you do double or triple batches, you will need to do it in batches otherwise it won't all fit in your blender/food processor.

Enjoy!
