Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Aargh!

I seem to have developed a (slight) allergy to the antibiotics. Or something else, because I am itchy. And I have to go back to the doctors tomorrow for him to look at my ankle, because there is still a red, swollen area that my NP boss thinks should be gone now, after 7 days of antibiotics every 6 hours. And my tummy hurts. And I have no kitty to keep me company. And I have to work Saturday and because of stupid #@#$! hourly rules I have to take a day off in THIS pay period, so I can't have 2 days off in a row. (There is absolutely no overtime allowed to be paid)

This suck

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Sophia, what's the antibiotic you're taking? (Also, are you allergic to any other drugs?)

And I have to go back to the doctors tomorrow for him to look at my ankle

At least this way you can talk to him about the antibiotic.

The demented robin that has been attacking windows all day can stop please. My skin is starting to crawl at the sound of claws on glass.

I am taking Ciprofloxin and Clindamycin. I am allergic to penicillan(sp)and amoxocilan (sp), so I am not sure that there is much else he can give me and I am clearly still infected.

Sophia, I had an allergic reaction to Ciprofloxacin; it's not uncommon. There are a lot of other antibiotics you can try, though. Obviously, nothing that ends in -cillin. But there are plenty others.

Because books.

Clindamycin

I had to take this for a tooth infection, and it really did a number on my stomach. It didn't make me itchy, though. And I'm allergic to penicillin/amoxycillin, too.

The red, swollen spot might still be around just because it was a big trauma. Obviously, let your dr check it out, but I wouldn't get panicky about it

Thanks Steph. This whole thing just sucks ass, and I really only have myself to blame for not going to the ER. Grrrr. And then my boss (an Orthopedic NP) was telling how I want to make sure I don't have an infection in my ankle joint because then they have to open it up and irrigate it and all sorts of gross things.

AmyLiz- It is also doing a number on my stomach. Which is fun.

and I think I am only scared of the swelling because of what my boss (see above) said!

Either one could be doing that, actually. Cipro really upset my stomach, in addition to its allergic-reaction-inducing qualities.
