Anyone want a lightly-used cranium? Never been concussed, few scars, minimal sun damage.

I'd forgotten how I hate sinus crap. Only symptom? Pain. I need to go buy more sudafed.

Ms. Kat, you need to know I am always late. Just keep that in mind.

Okay, darling. It's in my mind!

JenP, I have been pretty absent as I got a little out of hand busy: teaching full time, teaching 2 courses at UCLA, taking grad classes, writing, and writing lessons for scholastic (which I have one due today. DOH!) Plus I was tired of reading myself and limited most of my online time to LJ. But it's nice to be around a bit.

you wear a smaller size than I do and you are shorter than me. I know you do not always like facts, but there they are. If you insist that I am tiny, then you are TINIER!

except, msbelle, for this. I still don't 100% fit into the clothes you sent. I'm still a thicker build, though smaller size (go figure). And unlike you, according to BMI, I'm still overweight. SO THERE. AM NOT TINY! Though I like when you shake your wee fists of rage.

OH! David! YES on the sonnets and how interesting Greenblatt's interpretation is.

I had never read the sonnets all in one fell swoop - I've read many of them piecemeal. I know that the sonnets were most likely arranged by the editor, but the fact that there is a narrative arc is cool!

Also, please to entertain me, as msbelle said upthread.

According to BMI, so am I. And that, quite frankly, is cock. I am so far from being overweight it's not funny. So BMI can go and poop, is what I'm saying.

Yeah. I know, Jars, BMI is so backwards. I love that I'm a size 4 and overweight according to them. It makes me giggle everytime.

I'm a size 10 or 12 English, I have no idea what that is in American, and I'm 5ft 7inches. I just happen to be really heavy. I think I have dense bones or something.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I got to squawk fuckfuckFUCK this morning at 7:07 am. Hrm. Maybe not that entertaining. Unless you realize it was accompanied by the ohshitmousie dance and Devi was actually carrying a neon green fake mouse while she warbled around the living room.

I bought the neon colored mice for a reason. Apparently, I'm not bright enough at 7:07 to figure out live mice don't come in neon green.

Could have been a punk mouse, sarameg. Best to not take chances and do the dance.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ah. This morning's wake-up call was brought to you by the Seabiscuit's grand discovery that he now possesses a herd of cattle, and where would I like him to put them. They're gone now, and he is bereft, and clearly blames me for lacking definitive action leading to their departure.

But it wasn't mice, of any musical persuasion.
