We do the soft tacos too, but to no avail. The kids briefly liked spaghetti without sauce, but Emaryn has decided that spaghetti is bad in all forms and Leif is more flexible but he tends to follow the six-year old wisdom.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The Taco Bell by my old house had two-for-one tacos on Tuesday, which rocked. I could get two tacos and a side of chips for like $3. MMMMM. God I love Taco Bell. It's so nasty.

I prefer burritos to tacos, generally.

Enchiladas rule, baby (though not hand-y food): beef with red, chicken with green, and cheese & bean with mole'. Teh yum!

I much perfer burritos to tacos. There's so much more variety! Tacos are just an elaborate means of eating nachos, which are ok, but no big thing.

I've never denied that I'm a little crazy. Only that burritos could be better than tacos.

Y'know, the Carrburritos papas burrito is a good thing.

I don't mean to stomp on the goodness of tacos. The ones we make at home feature a wide variety of meat and veggies and salsas, and some are definitely better than others. But they're all good.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Wait. Is this really about food? My bad.

Crab cakes. A perfectly formed crab cake is like a message from God.

Oh, I didn't realize we were talking metaphorically. That changes things, mostly to a sudden desire not to eat Tex-Mex in the near future.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I for one was not talking metaphorically.

I didn't realize we were talking metaphorically.

We are?

Huh.

Still a fan of the burrito. I think I won't push for salsa verde in this context, though.

He liked sauce until he was about 3 (so 7 years ago) and then hated all things he felt were too "wet".

I remember preferring food to be free of sauce/gravy/toppings until my late teens. But I did grow out of it (well, mostly) if that's any comfort.

It was always very exciting when there was something that I'd eat that my brother didn't like.
