It turned out that CBC wasn't even that exciting -- it's just Complete Blood Count, so they knew how much of each blood component I have.
Of course, I'd just as soon NOT have anything medically exciting happen to me anyway...
All I ever got was an crappy icepack. They didn't even give me a kleenex to wipe the other person's blood off me!

My mother explained all those tests to me early in ER's run. Really took the shine off. I think I've had a CBC and blood gases. Chem 7 is, I think, a panel of 7 tests. Whee...

And if I recall, there's actually a couple of different Chem tests. I think the other is a Chem 12, which of course adds five more tests to the panel.
I hope you're feeling better soon, ita. I can't imagine being in that much pain for that long of a period of time, but it'd better go away soon.
I did just experience a dizzy feeling a few minutes ago, but that was due to the severe case of deja vu I experienced reading the posts transitioning from laundry to prawns. I know I've read those posts before, and since this was the first time I've been online since last Friday, I must have dreamt them at some time in the past! I get these spells of deja vu all the time (and have since I was a kid), but can usually only attribute them to "I feel like I've done this before...", not "I know I've done this before!" My brother had a clairvoyant moment when he was 7 years old that I know of, so maybe it runs in the family?
