Timelies all!
Went to the Nats vs. Cubs game this afternoon. It was fun. We got free t-shirts(size XL. which means mine will be a nightshirt. But, hey, free!), The Nats won and Tom Hanks was in a stadium box above and in front of the section we were in, so we saw him a couple times.
Red velvet is chocolatey but also slightly tangy, due to being made with buttermilk and vinegar. It's gooooooood.
My grandmother used to make a red velvet cake every time we visited her. It was pretty darn tasty.

I have ordered in because I can't imagine cooking in this heat.
I am almost looking forward to Vegas because, at least when I'm not working, there will be air conditioning.
