Red velvet is chocolatey but also slightly tangy, due to being made with buttermilk and vinegar. It's gooooooood.

My grandmother used to make a red velvet cake every time we visited her. It was pretty darn tasty.
Chip rule! Love it.
Mmm, I will show up at msbelle's house!
Seriously.
I have ordered in because I can't imagine cooking in this heat.
I am almost looking forward to Vegas because, at least when I'm not working, there will be air conditioning.
Of course, the working part might kill me.
I may order pizza, for the same reason, Kristen, though I am not convinced that I will want to eat it, in this heat.
Pizza is what I ordered! But I totally want to eat it because it's awesome cheesy goodness!
I had that problem last week. Going out to eat turned out to be the solution, FYI.
cereal is a good hot weather dinner.
OMG, I already sold the last of the three items I put up on ebay. I guess I should have set the buy it now price a little higher.
eta: Kristen, you convinced me. Pizza it is.
I have cold pizza from yesterrday. I may heat it. I may not.
It's very sad--one of the instructors has sent her dog to the pound, and doesn't expect he'll be adopted. Her brother dumped him on her a year ago, and she's been trying to integrate the pooch with her family. She tried giving him away about 6 months ago, but ended up running back to the shelters twice when they opted to put him down. They both went to obedience school, and things looked tolerable.
He bit her a few days ago, while she was crating him. He's back at the pound, and this time she's not rescuing him. She has a household that includes another dog, her mother, and her 11 year old son. I feel bad for her.
