Hauser: You really think you can solve the problem? Come into Wolfram & Hart and make everything right? Turn night into glorious day? You pathetic little fairy. Angel: I'm not little.

Swouncing

Skipping and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is SA's birthday. Happy birthday, SA! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Saw Eureka. Not impressed but I'll give it a chance. The fantasy science does not bother me. But I don't believe most of the characters. Even accepting the major series premise, most of the plot still seems contrived. Also as an additional annoyance - white fonted below:

I'm annoyed that aggresive sexuality on the part of a woman once again equals villainy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Birthday, SA!!!

I forgot to tape Eureka. That will teach me not to keep up with Natter. What station was it airing on again?

ETA: Nevermind I found it.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, SA!!!

Cashmere, at first, I thought I read that you found a dead kitty in the baby's room. Glad that was just the gronk in my eyes, and I hope the kitty knocks it off.

sj, I forgot to watch Eureka, too. Well actually, I saw people talking about it, yesterday, but forgot what it was.

It looks like the premiere is re-airing on Friday. I have the DVR set for them.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For deb g and beth b - I spotted this book in a catalog and thought your DHs might be interested (unless they already have it). Struck me as just their thing.

Happy Birthday, SA!!

I Plinked my sink

What means this?

I thought I read that you found a dead kitty in the baby's room

Ah, the relief of "Not just me, then, phew."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Plinking. I like to think I'm immune to grocery store tricks, but when there's something at eye level that makes me think "Oh, I almost thought of that!" I tend to buy it. So far--okay.

I had four migraines yesterday. I have another one this morning. I checked my schedule and I have nothing important today (apart from taking my car in for an oil change which can easily be postponed). It's just hard to get over the hump that gets me out of the house when the day starts this way.
