Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Plinking. I like to think I'm immune to grocery store tricks, but when there's something at eye level that makes me think "Oh, I almost thought of that!" I tend to buy it. So far--okay.

I had four migraines yesterday. I have another one this morning. I checked my schedule and I have nothing important today (apart from taking my car in for an oil change which can easily be postponed). It's just hard to get over the hump that gets me out of the house when the day starts this way.

Oh! I bought those once when I was house-sitting for my aunt. I didn't remember the name. I haven't been able to find them since. I enjoy a good Plink.

It's just hard to get over the hump that gets me out of the house when the day starts this way.

I hope this morning's migraine goes away stat, and that that's it.

I'm going to the Balto. Aquarium with niecelet today. Didn't plan in advance, so may be screwed ticket and line-wise, but at least it's not a weekend. I haven't been to the Aquarium in more than twenty years. Probably a little different now.

I think I'll try going back to sleep and see what happens. I'm not driving like this. If I do end up working from home, I need to promise myself I'll do all the stuff I've kinda been putting off. The annoying or boring stuff. That way I'll feel less lame.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I thought I read that you found a dead kitty in the baby's room

Ah, the relief of "Not just me, then, phew."

Sorry for the confusion. I'd have been freaked out if he'd have been dead. Which is strange because I want to kill him for pissing on the carpet.

I'm making a list to remind myself why I have pets. Love, companionship, cuddles, entertainment. This stuff is supposed to beat out the carpet messes, the smells, the dirt, the vet bills and the inconvenience, right?

Art Crawl!!!

Is the premiere re-airing on Friday instead of SG1 and SGA?

Happy Birthday SA!

And I've had to report my first "missing in the mail" dvd shipment to Netflix. Not good.

Also staying up and watching the late show of Eureka and then feeling so excited that I had to stay up EVEN later to post about it means that I am very, very, tired today.

I'm going to the Balto. Aquarium with niecelet today.

You can get tickets online (provided your browser isn't the beta Safari.) I think you can actually call too. They issue tickets in chunks by time, so unless you want to wait around the Inner Harbor (nothing is wrong with that) for your ticket time to arrive, you should probably get them in advance. Pet the horseshoe crab for me.

So in dropping the spare spare key (finally found it) for them to keep, I got put on the list with the contractor to have then entire ac/furnace unit replaced. At some point. I doubt it will be in the next month (list was 20ish long) but the ac is working, even if the electric bills kill me for now. But, presumably good since I'm now afraid of my furnace, since it got flooded.

The carpet is an area rug (a berber remnant I had bound) so I'd prefer they just clean it. Replacing it would probably result in me getting something of shitty beige quality.

What kind of moron goes to bed at 1 am when they have to get up at 7?

Oh. That would be me.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, SA!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

HAppy Birthday SA!

I think I need to Plink my sink too, now that I know what it means.

I just squirt some of that weirdly religious soap in the lavender flavor into the disposal from time to time and let it sit. Seems to take care of stuff.
