'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yep, pretty much.

At least I had the foresight to wear sturdy shoes.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, because I didn't go to the grocery store yesterday -- I have to go today. And it's already 86 and there's a heat advisory. Well, at least the grocery store is air conditioned. (The buses are often NOT.)

It is hot, but not so bad if you stay to the shadey side of the street. I am glad I resisted the urge to stay in bed really late this morning. Church was really good and I am actually getting some tedious work things done that keep slipping through the cracks.

Did you leave a hint for yourself? Look in System Preferences: Security, and try to change the password there. There's a space for a hint there.

I just checked that...and I have NO IDEA. It only took 7 different tries.... Some hint I left myself. It's probably circa 2002. Yeash.

I broke my fan last night (knocked it over when I was cleaning it and broke off a fin.) Der. So that's added to the list of things to do today. I was going to shop for toaster ovens anyway, so....

TARGET TARGET TARGET!

sarameg - Jul 16, 2006 7:46:23 am PDT #6917 of 10002

I probably will go there for the fan, though given the heat at the moment, they may be all sold out. Whenever it gets over 95, they fly off the shelves. I want to look at sears for the oven, but that's over at Security. My mom did all the research for me (this is a birthday present) and the two options that looked best were Kenmore and one that sounds like DeLorian, but isn't. Target had a display version of one of the latter, but no actual boxes.

oh, then Sears for both would make more sense. Wish I was there to go shopping with you, am missing you terribly for some reason this week.

Laura wanted me to let natter know that she is on the road, lakehouse bound, and will not be back online until they arrive and get settled.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sarameg, do you remember the model numbers for the toaster ovens? I need to get a new one too.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Sumi, can you wait to go as late in the day as the buses will allow?

It's an inferno here, too, and I'm just snuggled up with the air conditioner and contemplating mopping the floors. (I live on the edge.)

The Boy just saw the first PotC movie Friday night when we went to some friends' house. I'm wondering if I can get him to go to a matinee of Pt. 2 today. (Because that way I don't have to mop the floors....)
