You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I love the quote from the lobster article: "Lobsters are interesting but not personable."

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Really? They don't?

That was my reaction too. I mean, my first guess is conjoined twins. Is there some reason why that's off-base?

I tried to look at the lobster story, but it's not loading for me.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

They're just adding mystery and woo-woo, to my mind. It's all SO INCREDIBLE! No one can figure it out!

ETA: speaking of diagnosible birth anomalies, that lobster looks like a chimera.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Calif. wildfires could merge into inferno This is not good. So, so, so not good.

I know that Cass's post contains Not Good News, but it has also earwormed me with "Burn, Scrappy, Burn.... Scrappy Inferno"

Grrrrrreat, now I am earwormed too.

But "Desert Inferno" is ungood when my mom keeps calling and telling me where she can see flames. Her house is fine, by the way. Just a lot of people we've known are wondering if they still have homes.

This is when Fire = Bad.
