Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This week's Friday Cephalopod is remarkably beautiful.

Yeah, it is.

Also, I thought I was the only one who apprecieated the Friday Cephalopod....

Weekend: My parents are selling their house and farm, so I gotta find a garage to rent so I can bring the Lincoln down here. Also, cleaning, reading and maybe a movie or two. (The life of the big city bachelor is just nonstop fun!)

ChiKat beat me to the Sondheim announcement (see you in just over 24 hours!), but I still have to do laundry tonight after going to the grocery store, and then watching the last two episodes of BSG S1 goodness before sending the disc back to Netflix tomorrow.

Sunday will be spent communing with my A/C unit and reading my library copy of Watership Down.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Woot! Finished Traffic School. I got a 100% on the test. I is a safe driver.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It is actually impossible to get work done on a Friday afternoon, isn't it?

Yes. Not only that, but Science has proven it to be dangerous - if too many people do work on a Friday afternoon, the whole reality-matrix-thingie could implode upon itself.

This weekend I'm seeing Through a Scanner Darkly, juggling 3 potential hook-ups, and hopefully getting some artwork done for a friend of the family.

Oh, I might come into work for a bit on Sunday, just because they're moving me to a new cubicle on Tuesday morning, and I won't be getting anything done on Monday due to packing. There was a good thing about the day a few months ago when our computers were out for practically the entire day--I got a lot of stuff organized on my desk, so at least the amount of crap I'll have to go through on Monday isn't so bad.

I'm one of the lucky ones with the move; I'm going directly to my new cube. The other three in my group all have to work elsewhere until August 15th, when their new cubicles will be ready for them. One's moving to a temporary cube, my boss will be working at our Northside office, and the third will be working from home.
