Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

My deciding factor is "how much would this film be costing me in late fees." Hell, I ended up paying late fees on the movies I watched right away.

Hell, I end up paying late fees on library DVDs--and the library is across the street! So if that "8th" DVD slot being taken up for a few months allows you to cycle through your other 7 more rapidly, I'd say you are probably getting your money's worth.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have THREE discs in my house somewhere that I cannot find. I keep watching two movies and returning them to get more while still being on the five movie at a time plan because they are parts of boxed sets and I am sure I will find them eventually.

That is my Netflix guilt

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Isn't this article a lot like one that was posted in Salon some time ago? I'm not sure it's not the exact same one, actually.

We just downgraded to one at a time. We're too busy / have too much media to keep up with even two.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I downgraded to one at a time also, and also have had Hustle and Flow since Feb.

But Hustle & Flow is fun. Gritty, but fun. With good music. Why the wait?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I went from five to three. If I had one, I couldn't hang onto it until I felt like watching it without backing up the 446 movies in the queue.

Which reminds me, I need to go interleave Deadwood S1 with something nice and different.

That's why I put my account on hold for a while. I'd been on the 2-out plan for a while, but it was still becoming routine for things to sit around. And plus I'm trying to save money.

I looked on Netflix and there is not any plan listed involving 8 movies

Yes, there is. It's not one of the free trial options. All the plans are listed near the bottom third of this page: [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Anyone ever heard of a TV network (probably German) called Kontour?

[eta: May be spelled wrong]

Is there actually a hold option? We were talking about it, and husband thought he'd seen it, but we could only find information about canceling.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

But Hustle & Flow is fun. Gritty, but fun. With good music.

Love that movie. Much more than I thought I would.

I'm on the 3-disc plan on Netflix, but I use one of the spots for various workout DVDs.
