This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

But Hustle & Flow is fun. Gritty, but fun. With good music. Why the wait?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I went from five to three. If I had one, I couldn't hang onto it until I felt like watching it without backing up the 446 movies in the queue.

Which reminds me, I need to go interleave Deadwood S1 with something nice and different.

That's why I put my account on hold for a while. I'd been on the 2-out plan for a while, but it was still becoming routine for things to sit around. And plus I'm trying to save money.

I looked on Netflix and there is not any plan listed involving 8 movies

Yes, there is. It's not one of the free trial options. All the plans are listed near the bottom third of this page: [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Anyone ever heard of a TV network (probably German) called Kontour?

[eta: May be spelled wrong]

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That's why I put my account on hold for a while.

Is there actually a hold option? We were talking about it, and husband thought he'd seen it, but we could only find information about canceling.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

But Hustle & Flow is fun. Gritty, but fun. With good music.

Love that movie. Much more than I thought I would.

I'm on the 3-disc plan on Netflix, but I use one of the spots for various workout DVDs.

Oh okay, I thought I had seen that somewhere when I upgraded from 3 to 4.

My Netflix guilt is that my upgrade was only supposed to be for the duration of my film class, but the semester ended 2 months ago.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

my workdays are averaging 10 hours/day right now and often involve 6am starts, my free time has been occupied with home improvement work and beauraucratic running arounds. SO basically the wait is because of other priorities. I don't think I've watched more than an hour of tv on more than a handful of days in the last 2 months.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I also had a completely different Netflix guilt over the 4th of JJuly holiday, because I had nothing to watch the whole weekend, and broke down and went to Blackbuster and got 6 movies (I don't have cable, so there is often nothing on). I felt like I was cheating on Netflix.

It was nice, though, to have movies instead of TV shows. I haven't had a movie out from Netflix in years, as there is so much TV I need to watch. Currently, I am working my way through Popular (love it), Undeclared (Like it) and MI-5 (only saw ones I had already seen). I just finished Freaks and Geeks and Dead Like Me.

Because books.

You all just inspired me to finally sign up for Netflix.
