It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

OMG, RIO!

I was just thinking about EAT A MUFFIN, WHITEY! as I chowed down on a cranberry bagel the other day!

My nearly one-year old second born is currently upstairs in her cot not napping, and banging her dummy on the radiator. I can hear sing-songy noises as well. Good times.

Dear lord. SHE WAS JUST BORN. How can she be almost one????

Breakfast: organic apple poptart knockoffs, one cup black work coffee, one small can grapefruit juice.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I watched that Sedaris clip on Gawker this morning, and it made my life much much better.

Oh! So, I called the one credit card company that wants to blame me for the fraud AGAIN, and got a different person on the phone. Turns out "my" guy hadn't called me back because he's been out of the office, due to having a baby. Oh. OK then. AND it seems likely that they blamed me because they didn't have my phone number. So I'm confident it will all work out.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was so productive this morning! I was Taking Care of Business! I was Getting Shit Done!

Me too, and then I came to work, where things aren't working well.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

In other cute animal photo news, I saw this series of kitty vs. stuffed crocidile pics linked from Cute Overload--so freakin' cute! Reminds me of my Amarna attacking her catnip-infused minipillow.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The stuffed crocodile menace really brings out the fierceness in kitties.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Oh dear ... babies and puppies and kittens. Not quite ded of the cute yet, but approaching it.

And I LOVE that first picture of the kitten!

Compassionately intolerant

I love the one where the croc/kitty clinch looks like a scene from Alien.

I can't remember where the latest Deadwood discussion was, so I'll just link to Glark's Deadwood/Star Trek dadaism here.
