Eek, Matt. Glad you're okay.
This has been a faaabulous weekend for sleep. I had an hour and a half nap yesterday afternoon, got up at 8:00 this morning and went back to bed "for a bit" and woke up at 10:30. Breakfast was sliced Pink Lady apple and walnuts, and I'm starting to think about lunch.
Also, DH just dropped $50 on two varieties of salmon at Fresh Market, enough for four. We'll grill tonight!
Eeep Matt. Scary.
Haven't watched the tennis match yet. My head hurt and I didn't want to watch without sound.
Beverly is making me hungry. eta: I expect fish again. We had grilled kingfish yesterday. The boys are out fishing again today. They had visions of snapper and were headed out to some sunk ship where the snapper like to hang. We'll see.
2nd edit: Woo for the cool number
Quiet in here today.
My laundry is almost done, which means I'll have clean clothes to wear to TJ's and the fruit/veggie place. Yay.
Wow. Jim McKay is 85 and certainly looks it.
It's warm here but at least it's breezy.
So far I have watched tennis and done some dishes. Industrious I am not.
Now I'm all skeeved out about the thought of anyone drinking bathwater. Ew.
Not to skeeve you any more, Jesse, but keeping a toddler from drinking bath water is one of the most difficult things in the world to do. Really. And yeah, gross as hell, but they just don't have the concept down yet.
D'oh, I forgot to record tennis. At least I woke up in time to see soccer.
I am being msbelle today and cooking up a storm. Vegetarian tamale pie, an old favorite, and warm sausage/potato salad with ginger/marsala dressing, a new recipe (Weight Watchers, even!) are done and are faboo. Curried salmon/rice casserole, another new recipe, is in the oven but I suspect it's not going to come out well. So I might do something else.
Suggestions? I have more salmon. I wonder what salmon enchiladas would be like.
Well, that was a horrible way to the end the game.
Stoopid athletes with their stoopid tempers.
