And being reminded of how pretty ita is reminds me of how smart and otherwise compliment worthy she is.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

ita. I have to warn you about Eureka. There's a thing. One of those things. Or, I leave you to discovery.

Allyson, I contacted a plumber this morning and I need to call him the afternoon.

Others have said this already, but when I read this I was livid, Allyson. He let you go a week with unclean water (sewage) in your apartment before even calling someone! I am flabbergasted. I hope you have pictures and have saved copies of everything. I'm not a sue-happy kind of person, but this kind of negligence is not remotely acceptable.

I mean, I complained because my landlords took about a month to call someone about the faucet running hot water into the tub, and while it was steaming up the bathroom, it really hurt them more than me because they pay electric.

From the IMDB:

Doherty Set To Co-Host 'The View'

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Shannen Doherty will fill in as a co-host on talk show The View later this month. The actress joins a growing list of guest co-hosts sitting in after the abrupt departure of Star Jones Reynolds last week, after her contract was not renewed. Doherty's new reality show Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty, premieres on the Oxygen network next month. She will join forces with people in relationship peril who want to get out of bad relationships, but can't seem to do it on their own. Doherty will guest co-host The View on July 31 and August 1. Also scheduled to sit in as co-hosts are American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee, Dancing With The Stars winner Kelly Monaco and judge Carrie Ann Inaba. A permanent replacement for Jones Reynolds is expected to be named in the autumn.

Oy. I actually liked her in Charmed, but this seems like a recipe for disaster.

When I decided to break my slothful weekend routine and go on a day trip to St. Louis, I had no idea exactly how much excitement I was getting into. A couple hours ago I ended up in a high-speed game of chicken on the highway, having to swerve into the median to avoid a head-on-collision with the crazy son of a bitch that was driving north in the southbound passing lane of I-55. Managed to get my car back on the highway unaided (unlike last time), but I think I may need to start keeping a gun in my car if this sort of thing is going to keep happening.

I just hope everyone else on the road is, crazy driver excepted. When I got my car stopped and ready to return to the highway, there were cars coming from behind me in both lanes, which may indicate that the nutjob veered offroad too, or that they just broke into two lines again after dodging him.

Also, my cell phone will not dial directory assistance or the operator in that part of Missouri.
