Due to the BF reviewing cars and us having a different car every week, I have been in a couple of models with cooled seats. It's not really that cool temp-wise. It actually feels like a very light breeze--like sitting in a mesh lawn chair. Not a bad feeling, and nice if you tend to stick to the seats on a hot day.

nice.
I'm pretty sure the Cadillac rental we had this weekend had heated or cooled front seats, but only heated rear seats.
A Manhattan acquaintence is looking for recommendations for really good tasting fair trade coffee.
I've never been in a car with cooled seats - but on a really cold day the heated seats and backs are nice. And if your back is sore.
I can imagine on a hot day accidentially turning on the seat heater would be BAD.
The first time I got in a car with heated seats, I didn't know it, and it completely freaked me out. Totally disconcerting.
I got nothing on the coffee, Typo -- I drink Bustelo.
I want a cooled seat option. Really cool. And I should be able to activate either the right half or the left half.
And I'll probably be using one cupholder to keep my chai latte hot, and the other to keep my ice pack cool. Because not every owie can be served by the seat.
I have achieved iPod. The guy at the Costco checkout was all techy-manly-gruff, asking me if I've used an iPod before. I narrowed my eyes at him and told him this was #4. He then launched into an explanation of how if none of my previous iPods were video iPods, I'd need to load the software in the package before using it.
"Even if I've already got iTunes 6.0.5 and have used it to watch videos on my computer?" I asked.
He got kinda blustery and left me alone.
#4 is a misnomer. Little sis gets the 40GB 3G one. I'm actually more excited about setting up her new laptop that I have here for her with iTunes and random stuff she'll like.

You are not alone. My mom charmingly said she momentarily wondered if she had just become incontinent. Then she thought my dad had spilled his coffee and hadn't told her, so she yelled at him.
My new car doesn't have heated seats. It makes me sad, even though I know in LA I don't need them, really. I *loved* that feature in my last car.
I thought maybe I was becoming paralyzed.
