I slept in until 9:30, which is way too late for even me. Considering that the cats woke me several times demanding food, and I turned over and went back to sleep. It's amazing that I wasn't bit, considering their distress.
I took a Flexeril last night, which may explain a lot....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Happy 4th, everyone! We're off to the annual invitation-only sale at the Guitar Center. It's always fun to see bleary musician-types at 8:30 in the morning mooning over equipment. Then home to clean and write and suchlike. We may go to a friend's pool party or just veg out here before we cook up some brats and go down the street to watch fireworks. Should be a nice relaxing day.
I hope everyone celebrates in the way which gives them the most pleasure.
